ODDBALLS‘ BAND „fucked up right“ (weird science) 10“ 6,- €
Brandnew 10 songs from this Bonn raunch trio!!! This damn record heat-welds together an ungodly melting pot of '50s r&b, punkrock, blues, and garage punk in a way rarely ever touched, never mind surpassed!! The Oddballs band play with savagery and soul that are missing from most white blues musicians who've taken a stab at the genre. A mean combination of guttural blues and stomping rock'n'roll. Dirty Slim‘s voice is equal parts heartache and hellfire. He hollers with all the sass and sorrow of a drunk at last call, and his guitar playing is just as rambunctious -- going from fleet, foot-stompin' blues workouts to reverb-drenched garage-rock overdrive in a heartbeat. With backing from Blind Kid Longer, who pounds out sloshed, ramshackle rhythms on a broken drumkit, it all amounts to lots of weathered, world-weary thrills. An essential purchase for any discerning trash rock hound.

ODDBALLS BANDS „49 songs.....“ 10” 3,- €

ODDBALLS‘ BAND „shit explosion“ (scenepolice 010 / weird science) CD 5,- €
This collection of rare blues recordings contains 22 songs of the Oddballs band! Basicly this is a best of-collection of all their sold out records most of which were available on vinyl only and a buncha unreleased songs, which have been recorded exclusively for this release! About as authentic sounding as the blues can get without being born black in 1825. A raw and exciting blues artifact circa 1883 (-88) featuring Dirty Slim playing lead guitar on all tracks while Champion Mc Beth (later replaced by Mr T-Bird) and Steamboat deliver the punkin‘ rhythm and some very inspired bass. With extensive linar notes again by Mr T-Bird and the legend of Hobo Johnson being revealed (sorta)! A supreme blues album done of course in the time honored Hobo Johnson style.

ODDBALLS BAND “shady flavour” 7“ 1,- €

OHM (release the bats records) 7“ 2,- €
release the bats records are proud to present the debut 7“ from the new swedish band ohm! an instrumental four-piece (two members from the jam session + two other kids), self described as 'timeless electronica'. think heavy progressive rock from the 60´s intersecting with more modern electronica. the result is truly amazing. 3 dark songs filled with loudness and passion. fantasy-electro for the new century! a new band that features some kids from THE JAM SESSION, they are fuuucking amazing. progressive and heavy as hell, instrumental stuff that is like a dark and disgusting mix of black sabbath and fucking deep purple, but mainly focused on keyboards! goblin comes to mind (some parts also reminds me alot of early mortiis, no shit). suggestive electronica. groovy (i hate that word but you know what i mean) and loud. OHM = simply elegant!"

OIL „electric tongue“ (coalition records) 10“ / CD 5,- € / 5,- €
The Netherlands' OIL ups the ante after their critically acclaimed Definition Delta LP, with five new blasts of rock swagger and punk sensibilities. With an ever evolving sound, OIL smashes all expectations and takes it to the street where they not only prove themselves to be veterans of the European hardcore scene, but a band able to spar with the best pure rock and roll bands on the planet. With their newest EP, Electric Tongue, OIL traces shadows of their trademark DC-influenced hardcore sound and mixes in elements of DRIVE LIKE JEHU, HOT SNAKES, and the attitude of RYE COALITION to bring a previously unheard texture and sass to their music. This EP demonstrates that the band is able to reinvent themselves which each subsequent release. Electric Tongue is a small taste of big things yet to come. Recommended if you like: RYE COALITION, DRIVE LIKE JEHU.

OLIVER TWIST, THE "NEW TRICKS & TRAPS" (XM-062) LP 6,5 €
okay, due to our shitty financial situation we should not release another record right now - but when we did get sent these recordings and were asked to release it, we just could NOT resist! these 8 new tracks are by far surpassing anything these guys had ever recorded! musically there are similarities to this other german band ROBOCOP KRAUS, but the OLIVER TWIST's go one or more steps further here... sounding like a fresh & enthusiastic equivalent to the LES SAVY FAV or LIFTER PULLER and yes, their non-predictable approach to music even reminds me of the BIG BOYS (if i dare say so?) - and so we hope this will turn into a BIG SELLER and solve all our problems...

ONE AM RADIO, THE "the hum of the electric air!" (ehp) LP 7,- €
beautiful, melancholy lyrics and melodies characteristic of their previous records is still dominant on this release, but the band takes on new territory as well, for the first time using breakbeats, samples, and keyboards. the twelve tracks, though somewhat ecletic, all have a dark, wistful dreaminess, born from the night time drone of insects, power lines, and lightning storms, and contain the quiet, pastoral beauty of a dusk in july.

ONE MAN AND HIS DROID “Où est le magnétophone?” CD (Defiance) 4,- €
A symbiosis of perfectly arranged guitar music and wonderful, atmospheric electronic-arrangements. With every listen, this record will grow on you, if you like this kinda music...if you don’t you’ll throw it out the window, like i did! One man and his droid continues to add influences from ELLIOTT, RADIOHEAD, NOTWIST or AIR.

ON THE MIGHT OF PRINCES "Where You Are and Where You Want To Be" CD 7,-€
long island chaotic and screamy emo foursome. totally dynamic and diverse hardcore belted out with gutwrenching enthusiasm and emotion. everyone who knows me knows i hate the emo, but this really is great. the vinyl version was manufactured using direct to metal mastering (dmm), so it sounds totally fucking mint. their new record will be out on revelation records in the winter.

OPERATION LATTE THUNDER / ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS (Perpetual Motion Machine) split 7“3,- €
